A bride's wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of her life. Even with all the excitement, there is always something that inevitably goes wrong though because nothing is perfect and most brides should realize that. So a glass shatters, it might drizzle for a period of time, you forgot that emergency kit with safety pins, you need more hairspray, whatever it may be, usually it's the little stuff right? You never think to yourself though, what if one guest takes off with our reception food? Well, that's exactly what happened to this one bride whose extended guest showed up with 10 Tupperware containers and made off with 7 containers of food from the buffet, 3 containers of homemade cookies, a couple bottles of beer, and multiple centerpieces! The bride never expected her wedding to be the scene of a heist!
The shock is not over yet though! You know what the bride & groom received as a wedding gift from the couple who attended their wedding? They got a card with $5 in it! So let's recap, the bride's father's best friend came to the wedding with his wife, who stocked up on food and items from the wedding, and then left a gift of $5 in a card to the bride & groom. Jeez...talk about the wedding guests from hell! Now this is not poor shaming, apparently upon further investigation, this couple is not hurting for money, the bride says they are well off. That is what makes it outrageous! How would you feel with a well off couple coming to your wedding and making off with half the buffet? Apparently it was a small affair to begin with, about 25 people and so I can't imagine there was that much food to begin with!
Does the bride and groom have the right to be upset? Yes, I think so. How could you predict something like this? This just means, that couple is not invited to other further celebrations! Bottom line. At least that's what I would do...as the saying goes, fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me!
Have you ever experienced a wedding guest from hell? Witnessed it? Tell us in the comments!
