Walmart apologizes over sweater showing Santa with lines of white substance

Walmart finds itself in the predicament of having to apologize for an ugly sweater they featured on their Canadian Walmart website. They showcased some adult themed ugly Christmas sweaters in which one in particular warranted an apology from the retail giant. The sweater in question depicts Santa Claus with three lines of a white substance in front of him on a table with the words "Let It Snow". People are upset that the sweater depicts Santa Claus appearing to be doing illegal drugs. Walmart has since pulled these controversial sweaters from their website and blames a third party for their presence on their site. Additionally, Walmart put out the statement that: "These sweaters, sold by a third-party seller on Walmart.ca, do not represent Walmart’s values and have no place on our website. We have removed these products from our marketplace. We apologize for any unintended offense this may have caused.”

If you saw this at your holiday ugly sweater party, would you be offended?
