Yesterday, Wednesday December 18th, 2019, The House voted to impeach President Trump on the grounds of "abuse of power" and "obstruction of Congress". With that being said, the next step is for those articles of impeachment to be turned over to The Senate. However House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi has yet to turn over those articles of impeachment. Why you ask? Pelosi refuses to turn over the articles until Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell confirms with her just what type of trial it will be and more specifically, look like. Pelosi has her doubts that the articles won't be immediately thrown out by McConnell and the Senate and therefore the House's articles of impeachment will go nowhere...she's trying to prevent that from happening and wants a fair trial but will she get one?
VB discusses with Tom Shattuck & Cosmo Macero, the House's vote to impeach the President and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's stalling of turning over those articles to the Senate.
