Democratic Candidate for President and former Mayor Pete Buttigieg, took aim at President Trump when he was asked at a Town Hall event out of Las Vegas about family values. CNN hosted the event and brought up Rush Limbaugh & President Trump's take on family values to Buttigieg. Limbaugh said in a previous statement he does not believe the country is ready for a gay president. Then while President Trump told Limbaugh not to apologize for his statements, he did say he would not have a problem supporting a gay candidate. CNN asked Buttigieg if he believes POTUS Trump's statement on supporting a gay candidate & this was his answer:
Buttigieg threw an absolute dagger at the President & First Lady's relationship! It's so apparent that anytime you reference a conservative and bring up gay marriage, it's like a spark ignites inside Buttigieg and you see this snarky/defensive side of him. Even in this case where President Trump said he wouldn't have a problem supporting a gay candidate (Mayor Pete would fit in this category) Buttigieg gets defensive and this snarky side of him comes out where he feels it necessary to take aim at President Trump's personal relationship. I think that's small & unnecessary. What do you think?
