I'm back at it reviewing another cool beer for "Lightning in a Bottle"! This time around I dive right into trying the latest Bruins themed beer by Harpoon, "Don't Poke The Bear". I know, I know, I'm "supposed" to be a Tampa Bay Lightning fan but I made an exception...Harpoon teamed up with Bruins player Chris Wagner to brew this "black and gold-en" ale. It has a 5.14% ABV and each beer comes in a 16 oz can. Harpoon is using the proceeds of this beer for a special cause, which is wonderful. For every case sold, they are donating a portion of proceeds to the Corey C. Griffin Foundation – the charity of Wagner’s choice.

Appearance: Bright & Golden.
Aroma: Lightly floral, citrus, and a hint of stone fruit.
Mouth Feel: Soft and light.
Taste: Biscuit, honey, and lemon zest.
Finish: Clean, crisp, and crushable.
In conclusion I give this beer a 8 out of 10! Solid beer. Enjoyable.
