Brian Williams criticized for on-air error on Bloomberg's spending habits

MSNBC's Brian Williams is under fire for an error he made on air with New York Times Editorial Board Member Mara Gay about former Mayor Bloomberg's campaign spending habits. They used a tweet for reference when they brought up the notion that former NYC Mayor Bloomberg spent $500 million on ads during his 2020 campaign and that money could have been used to pay the 327 million people in this country. They went on to break it down saying that Bloomberg could have easily given the 327 million people in this country at least one million dollars each and would still have change left over...uh huh...

Yikes! I'm the last person to scold someone for doing math wrong because believe me it's not my strong suit but you would think a producer or SOMEONE on that team would catch this bad math before they went on air with these thoughts. Where is Andrew Yang when you need him?!
