Everyone's favorite representative from NY, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, otherwise known as AOC, took to social media to express her personal thoughts on people avoiding Chinese and Asian restaurants amid all the Coronavirus outbreaks. AOC says that the reason people are avoiding these restaurants and why they are losing business amid all the Coronavirus fears is because people are "just straight up racist"!
Is that true? Are businesses "feeling the pain of racism" right now due to the Coronavirus? Or are they following the general guidelines from their home states to avoid large crowds and gatherings while they try to prevent the further spread of this Coronavirus?
