Customer pays $1000 for donut to help keep Ohio bakery in business!

A local Ohio man made such a generous donation to his local bakery that it left the manager/co-owner in tears. A regular customer at Tremont Goodie Shop in Upper Arlington, Ohio went into the bakery this past week and ordered one donut and offered to pay $1000 to help keep the shop in business. He ordered a custard donut for takeout, which is his usual order. Manager/co-owner, Emilie Smith was brought to tears at the gesture and said this when asked about the offering: "At first I couldn't even speak. I started crying, and he asked if it was ok. Of course it's ok! It's just such a blessing."

Smith told various media outlets that when she received the $1000 donation it was actually payday for her employees so it made her life a little less stressful and much easier for her to be able to pay her employees.

These are the type of stories that really inspire and encourage others during this difficult time. Bravo to that regular customer at Tremont Goodie Shop!
