Gov. Cuomo says POTUS will need an army to walk the streets of NYC

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was responding to President Trump's order to review and defund cities like New York City and others that are allowing "lawless" protests and cutting police budgets, when he all but threatened the President's safety if he returns to NYC. Gov. Cuomo said that if he plans on coming back to visit New York City, "forget bodyguards, he better have an army if he thinks he's gonna walk down the street in New York." Gov. Cuomo goes on to say "the best thing President Trump did for New York City was leave".

Hear Governor Cuomo's comments here:

Does that sound like a "threat" to you? It certainly sounds like he's planting the seed of what he thinks "could" happen to Trump on the streets of New York...what do you think? I don't think it's a good look at all. That may or may not be true, let's be honest, the President is not the most well liked person so it's entirely possible he could get attacked if out on the streets but to draw attention to it with that tone like a tough guy, is not the best look for Gov. Cuomo. He should have said something along the lines of I understand the President is a controversial individual among the public and we do not see eye to eye often and I know a lot of New Yorkers are not happy with him so I fear he'll be met with criticism upon returning to New York. Is that so difficult? By him saying oh he better show up with an army, is insinuating violent behavior...thoughts?
