WH Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany tests positve for COVID-19

This past week has been quite the whirlwind at the White House. The big news came out last Friday morning that President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump had tested positive for COVID-19. They immediately both went into quarantine and President Trump has since been treated at Walter Reed Hospital and is believed to be getting discharged at some point today, Monday. The latest news is that today, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany has announced that for the first time she has now also tested positive for the Coronavirus. She said she is experiencing no symptoms but will begin her quarantine process.

Kayleigh McEnany is just the next in line of White House staffers and close confidants of President Trump, that have tested positive for the Coronavirus. Thus far these are the number of staffers and individuals in Trump's close orbit that have tested positive for COVID-19 thus far:

COVID Positive:

  1. President Trump
  2. First Lady Melania Trump
  3. Hope Hicks - Senior Presidential Advisor
  4. Nick Luna - White House Aid
  5. Bill Stepien -Trump Campaign Manager
  6. Ronna McDaniel - Republican National Committee Chairwoman
  7. KellyAnne Conway - Advisor to the President

  12. Father John Jenkins - Notre Dame President

This is just an example that this virus can happen to anyone and target anyone. President Trump and the White House is one of the most closely guarded bubbles, meaning everyone is constantly being checked for COVID and monitored and yet the virus still got into the bubble. Take the virus seriously and stay safe and healthy! Thoughts, prayers, and well wishes for all the above and everyone who is being affected by COVID.
