BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Former Vice President Joe Biden, who has been teasing a possible 2020 presidential run, will rally with striking Stop & Shop workers in Dorchester.

IAM Local 264 Boston said on their Facebook page that Biden will speak with the workers on Thursday at 2 p.m., along with Boston Mayor Marty Walsh.

Biden tweeted in support of the striking workers on the same day they walked out last week.

On Friday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who has already declared she's running for the Democratic 2020 nomination, visited with striking workers in Somerville.

Some 31,000 Stop & Shop employees are striking to demand a living wage, pensions, and better healthcare. Stop & Shop says it is offering them a fair deal. Their last contract expired February 23.
