BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — High temperatures and humidity have many parts of Boston buzzing with the sound of air conditioners at all hours of the day and night.
"It was a sweaty one last night," Jonathan, who lives in the North End, told WBZ NewsRadio Wednesday morning. "Even with [the air conditioning] on, it was bad."
"I leave it on for my dogs," Jenna said about her A/C. "I leave my living room one on, but I also put the bedroom one on with the door closed because of the dogs."

A Heat Advisory remains in effect until 8 p.m. Wednesday for most of Massachusetts. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu has also declared a Heat Advisory for the city through Wednesday.
According to AccuWeather, Wednesday's high is expected to be 92 degrees at Boston Harbor, but into the mid-to-upper 90s in many inland suburbs.
The heat index is expected to once again reach 100 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Relief is on the way, however, as temperatures are set to cool as the weekend approaches. AccuWeather forecasts Thursday's high to be 76 degrees, with Friday's high even cooler at 65 degrees.
