Rainy Conditions Expected Leading Into A Breezy Marathon Monday

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Rain and cloudy skies are heading toward the Bay State ahead of Marathon Monday.

As runners and spectators travel to Boston, they can expect a breezy weekend filled with overcast conditions and plenty of showers.

According to AccuWeather, thunderstorms are expected to encompass areas north and west of Boston, with lows in the 50s. Residents can expect morning showers and afternoon thunderstorms on Friday with highs in the 70s.

Saturday will feel cooler with highs between 50 - 60, followed by more showers on Sunday, with highs expected to be in the 60s.

Monday will be breezy, with a slight chill, but void of rain, with highs near 50.
