Debbie Moccia, the Level 3 sex offender was released by Salem Judge Timothy Feeley on Wednesday.
Moccia was arrested on a warrant Tuesday, a day after she failed to show up for her arraignment in Salem Superior Court. She’s also under indictment for failing to update her address with Lawrence police earlier this year.
Moccia was put back on the street by Salem Superior Court Judge Timothy Feeley on Wednesday. Why? Because he rejected a request by the prosecutor to hold her on $5,000 bail.
In the hearing, Judge Feeley said, "She really has nowhere to go.” He added, “She is well-known to local police," said Feeley. "It won't be hard to bring her back to court."
