Massachusetts lawmakers are proposing a bill that will allow cities and towns to lower the voting age to 16 for municipal elections.

The bill is sponsored by Rep. Andy Vargas, Rep. Dylan Fernandes, and Sen. Harriette Chandler. This bill, if passed, would grant municipalities the power to lower the voting age.

Do you think Massachusetts should lower the voting age to 16? Kuhner says the voting age should be raised to 21.
