Should Howard Schultz run for President as an Independent in 2020?

Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz says, “I am seriously thinking of running for President.”

"We're living at a most fragile time," Schultz told CBS's Scott Pelley in a "60 Minutes" interview that aired on Sunday. "Not only the fact that this President is not qualified to be the president, but the fact that both parties are consistently not doing what's necessary on behalf of the American people and are engaged every single day in revenge politics."

Schultz, who describes himself as a "lifelong Democrat," is no longer the chairman and CEO of Starbucks. Last year Schultz said he was exploring what he could do next to be most helpful to the future of America.

Democrats are worried that if Schultz enters the race, this will guarantee President Trump’s re-election.
