Bernie Sanders announced his 2020 run for president Tuesday.
The Vermont senator, 77, entered a very different Democratic primary contest than the one he faced in 2016 against Hillary Clinton.
Sanders launched his first campaign ad showing support for Medicare For All, free college tuition, the Green New Deal, raising the minimum wage and raising taxes on the wealthy.
"Brothers and sisters, we have a lot of work ahead of us," Sanders says in his first ad. "If we are prepared to stand together, there is no end to what the great people of our nation can accomplish."
President Trump welcomes Sanders to the race and said Sanders was treated unfairly by Hillary Clinton. However, Trump still says he’ll win re-election.
