Should Massachusetts throw out life without parole for first-degree murder?
This new bill calls to get rid of the mandatory Massachusetts sentence of life without parole and allow inmates to be eligible for parole after 25 years.
State Rep. Jay Livingstone is sponsoring the bill. This bill is now before the joint committee on the judiciary.
