Sen. Elizabeth Warren is grilled by âThe Breakfast Clubâ host Charlamagne Tha God on her claims of Native American ancestry.
âWhen did you find out that you werenât?â the host pressed.
âWell, itâs â Iâm not a person of color. Iâm not a citizen of a tribe, and tribal citizenship is an important distinction and not something I am,â Warren replied.
âWere there any benefits to that?â Charlamagne Tha God asked.
âNo, the Boston Globe did a full investigation,â Warren answered. âIt never affected, nothing about my family every affected any job I ever got.â
âYouâre kind of like the original Rachel Dolezal, a little bit. Rachel Dolezal was a white woman pretending to be black,â Charlamagne Tha God said.
âNo, this is what I learned from my family.â
