The Massachusetts Department of Public Health added fifteen new presumptive positive cases of coronavirus on Sunday, bringing the total number of cases in Massachusetts to 28.
These tests were performed by the state laboratory and are awaiting confirmation from the CDC and one has been confirmed.
Currently, public health authorities are not recommending the cancellation of the Boston Marathon. Boston Marathon organizers say they are “carefully monitoring” coronavirus developments.
Also, the South Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade is still scheduled for March 15.
