House Speaker Nancy Pelosi spoke to the press today about a variety of issuing such as the House voting on impeachment proceedings, which resulted in a vote of 232-196 in favor of moving forward with impeachment proceedings. Additionally, Pelosi was asked about Congresswoman from California, Katie Hill's resignation from Congress after her very public sex scandal including relationships with fellow staffers and nude photos that were made public online. Pelosi said that "Regardless of any errors in judgement that anyone may have made, it's a shame that she has been exposed to public humiliation by way of cyber exploitation". She went on further to say that Hill is a "outstanding young public servant...very smart..strategic, patriotic, loves our country, and respected by her colleagues in the Congress".
