Indiana-based pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly has begun human trials on an experimental COVID-19 treatment - the first in the world based on human antibodies.
Researchers developed the treatment using a blood sample from one of the first patients in the U.S. to recover from the coronavirus.
Phase 1 of the trial is expected to conclude by the end of June and the company hopes to have hundreds of thousands of doses available by the end of the year.
